Astral Legal have partnered with a Global Insurance Company as they are recruiting a Senior Regulatory Counsel to join their team.
You will have key relationships with Legal /Compliance/ DPO/ Risk/ Financial Crime.
The ideal Senior Regulatory Counsel will handle the following.
- Lead on regulatory affairs and compliance for the German and Swiss branches.
- Lead on any regulatory applications supporting the Insurance Dach, European entities.
- Oversight of all regulatory and compliance advisory activities and supporting regulatory compliance across the group.
- Provide support on legislation and provide support on legal matters as appropriate
- Support on cross-border, international compliance, claims compliance and global programmes matters.
- You will handled advise on licensing issues offering Legal advice to the market on European Jurisdictions.
- You will require experience in the application of regulatory licences across multiple jurisdictions both within and outside of Europe
- Working and supporting the German and Swiss entities offering support on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Lead on regulatory applications across multiple jurisdictions in an efficient manner.
The ideal Senior Regulatory Counsel will have at least 10 years experience in a Regulatory/Compliance across the Insurance sector and ideally have a Legal background.
